When and where is DSTRKT25?

DSTRKT25 takes place at Fan Park, Ice District, downtown Edmonton.

  • Friday, September 5: Gates at 4:00 PM, event ends at 11:00 PM
  • Saturday, September 6: Gates at 3:00 PM, event ends at 11:00 PM

Rain or shine event. Both indoor and outdoor stages.

 

Is there re-entry?

No re-entry. Once you leave, you may not re-enter that day.

 

Is DSTRKT25 indoors or outdoors?

Both—indoor and outdoor stages are used. Be ready for any weather.

 

Is there a dress code?

No dress code—dress for comfort, the weather, and for dancing. Festival attire and creativity welcome.

What’s the minimum age?

DSTRKT25 is 18+ only. No minors admitted.

What ID is accepted?

  • Government-issued driver’s license or ID card
  • Passport
  • Permanent resident card
  • Armed forces ID

NOT ACCEPTED: student ID, health card, expired, temporary, photocopy, or digital/photo versions

When is last entry?

Last entry is 9:00 PM each day.

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes, through the official ticketing system until gates open.

Can I enter at any time?

As long as it’s before last entry and your ticket hasn’t been scanned.

Where do I buy tickets?

Only through the official website and authorized promoters.

 

What types of tickets are there?

  • GA: General Admission—access to all main festival areas.
  • VIP: Includes exclusive areas, expedited entry, private bars, VIP washrooms, and coat check.

 

If tickets sell out, what should I do?

Join the official waitlist for secure, verified resale.

Where is Fan Park?

Fan Park is in Edmonton’s Ice District, next to Rogers Place.

 

How do I get there?

  • Transit: LRT (MacEwan, Churchill) and bus routes nearby.
  • Rideshare/Taxi: Drop-off zones in the Ice District.
  • Parking: Paid parkades and lots in Ice District. Parking is limited; carpool or use transit if possible.
  • Bike: Bike racks at main entrance (bring your own lock).

 

Is there accessible entry?

Yes, all festival areas are accessible, including restrooms and viewing spaces.

Allowed:

  • Valid, government-issued photo ID
  • Printed or mobile ticket
  • Empty, refillable water bottle (no glass, max 1L)
  • Sealed, factory-bottled water (max 1L per person)
  • Small clear bag, fanny pack, or purse (subject to search)
  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen in non-aerosol containers)
  • Comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing
  • Portable phone charger
  • Earplugs

WHAT NOT TO BRING (PROHIBITED ITEMS)

  • Alcohol or outside beverages (except sealed water as above)
  • Drugs or illegal substances (see Cannabis section below)
  • Weapons, sharp objects, or projectiles of any kind
  • Professional cameras, drones, audio/video gear
  • GoPros or action cameras on poles/selfie sticks
  • Large backpacks, luggage, or duffel bags
  • Laser pointers, glow sticks
  • Large signs, totems, inflatables, umbrellas, chairs, blankets
  • Fireworks, sparklers, open flames
  • Glass containers
  • Flyers, posters, or unauthorized promo materials
  • Animals (service animals allowed with documentation)
  • Any item deemed unsafe or disruptive by security

Is cannabis allowed at DSTRKT25?

  • Cannabis is permitted only in compliance with Alberta law and festival policy.
  • You may bring in a small, personal amount (pre-rolled or in a sealed government package). No loose cannabis, large quantities, edibles, or homemade products.
  • All cannabis products must be stored in original, sealed, government packaging.
  • Vaping/smoking cannabis is allowed ONLY in the designated outdoor area. No smoking/vaping indoors, in general audience, or VIP areas.
  • No glass, butane torches, or elaborate smoking devices permitted.
  • Selling or sharing cannabis on site is strictly prohibited.
  • Illicit substances and all other recreational drugs are strictly banned.

 

What about alcohol?

  • No outside alcohol allowed. Licensed bars on site serve alcoholic beverages. Government-issued photo ID required to purchase.

Food & drink:

  • Multiple food vendors, including vegetarian/vegan options.
  • Full bar service (alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages).
  • Free water refill stations.

 

Payment:

  • All vendors accept credit/debit and tap payment. Some accept cash. ATMs on site.

 

Smoking & vaping:

  • Permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.

 

Restrooms:

  • Portable restrooms and outdoor VIP washroom trailers. 

 

Medical & security:

  • Professional medical staff on site at all times.
  • Bag checks and screening at entry. Security present throughout the festival.

Is the festival rain or shine?

Yes. Indoor and outdoor stages will operate regardless of weather. Some outdoor areas may be covered, but come prepared.

 

What should I wear?

Check the weather forecast—bring a jacket or poncho if rain is possible, sunglasses and sunscreen for daytime.

Are totems or flags allowed?

No large totems or flagpoles. Small, hand-held signs are permitted (must not block views).

 

How do I find lost & found?

Located at the Info Booth near the main entrance.

 

Will there be a festival map/schedule?

Yes. Released on the website and posted at the Info Booth before the event.

 

Is crowd surfing or moshing allowed?

No. Unsafe behavior is not tolerated and may result in ejection without refund.

What does VIP include?

  • Express entry
  • Access to exclusive VIP viewing areas
  • Private VIP restrooms
  • Dedicated bar

Is DSTRKT25 accessible?
